Asterisk Manager access

The TAPI driver uses the functions of the Asterisk Manager via TCP/IP connection. There are two ways to access the Asterisk Manager:

• the direct access to the Asterisk Manager
• or via Asterisk Manager Proxy

Hints:

• If no TAPI line is open, the driver automatically disconnects the connection.
• As soon as a TAPI line is opened by an application, the driver automatically reconnects to the Asterisk Manager interface of the telephone system.

"Asterisk Server" Dialog

In dialog "Asterisk Server" you have to enter the access parameters for the Asterisk Manager Interface or the Asterisk Manager Proxy.

IP-Address: IP address or host name of server running the Asterisk Manager
Port: Must be equal to parameter "port" in manager.conf!
Username: the user you set-up in "manager.conf"
Password: the users secret you set-up in "manager.conf"
